Last weekend the winners for the You Shop We Ship Player of the Month for October were announced. These are the winners:
1st Division Men: Omar Said - A to Z Electronics Athleta - Said helped his team to win the Super Cup and the Gozo Cup in October. He contributed to this by scoring 52 points including 10 three pointers. He also features an average of 2.33 steals, 7.33 rebounds and 3 assists per game.
Women - Becky Naudi - Luxol - For Naudi this was the first player of the month honour in her career.In October Luxol won the Super Cup and reached the semi-final of the Saint James Hospital Shield. Naudi had a total of 47 points and also has an average of 2.25 steals, 4.50 rebounds and 1.50 assists per game.
2nd Division Men: Igor Marjanovic - Bell Net SN Suns - For SN Suns Serbian player Igor Marjanovic this is the second time he won this award. He features an average of 1.50 steals, 12.50 rebounds and 1.50 assists per game and scored 85 points helping Suns reaching the Saint James Hospital Shield final.
