fibaFIBA was founded on 18th June 1932 in Geneva, Switzerland. We therefore start our 75th Anniversary celebrations today and would like to invite you all to celebrate it with us.

 

The visionary men who met on that summer day of 1932 in Geneva would have probably never imagined, not even in their wildest dreams, how popular the game of basketball has become 75 years later. Basketball is amongst the most popular sports in the world and truly conforms one of the pillars of the Olympic movement.
